I have a Hess truck collection that you can find off from a link on the
home page of this site. I have divested of many of them and don't really
collect them any more, however there are a few that are very valuable
that I have chosen to keep and display. To purchase a Hess truck display
case of the size I was looking for, to be able to display up to 15 full
size trucks, just wasn't possible. So I decided to build my own. Here is
a sketch of what the completed case will look like:
I will purchase the maple hardwood for the frame and shelves at my local Hearne's
Hardwoods, the maple plywood for the back at my local Lowes and the
UV filtering glass front at a local framing shop. |
