Follow the
simple instructions below
to make the most of Wood Search.
To perform a search of a wood species, simply enter all or part of
the name in the Species field, in the form of a partial word or phrase.
References that include the word(s) entered will be displayed on the
screen. If more than 40 references meet your
criteria, they will be displayed on additional pages. The numerical
value displayed with some species indicates its location in the
corresponding source.
Helpful Hint: Entering 'oak'
catches several species of Red Oak as well as Southern Oak, Tulip Oak,
Spanish Oak and about another 200 different types of Oak. Entering more
keywords can narrow the search considerably. For instance, 'Black
Oak' returns only four different species.
Wood Search is
made possible through the efforts of its author, Dave Bilger of B&B
Rare Woods.
