Woods in Color (WWC) - Provides a wealth of information on over 275
wood species with color photos showing the grain in each specie. Also
includes detailed information on mechanical and working properties,
seasonal durability and uses. |
| Commercial Foreign Woods (CFW) - This would seem to be a standard
reference for those in the commercial side of the wood business, though
I couldn't tell you where to find a copy as it seems to be out of print. |
| Species List (SPEC) - You can find here
a list of the scientific names for nearly 1,000 species. All are
included in the Species Search. |
