This ship is based on the 1966 model, the
only Hess Toy Truck that wasn't a land dweller. Lights light up the
night on its detachable display base. It comes with a AA battery and
pull tab which have been removed to prevent the battery acid leakage
from damaging the truck. It also comes with instructions on how to
replace the battery. Only 24 of these were made and given to good
friends of the John Hess family and corporate VIPs.
